Bacon-wrapped shrimp |
Threw it on top of some 4-cheese mac & cheese |
Ingredients:
- 14 large, peeled, deveined, de-tailed shrimp (you can make more/less, but adjust number of bacon slices then)
- ~ 4-5 pieces of bacon (I used turkey bacon - cut it in half in both directions to make enough for the 14 shrimp)
- ~1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
- Salt & pepper
Directions:
- Defrost shrimp.
- In bowl, mix olive oil & salt & pepper. Season the shrimp in bowl. (Aka throw them in and mush them around...the longer you let them marinate for, the better)
- Wrap shrimp in bacon slices. (my turkey bacon was was long and thick so I divided it down the middle both ways)
- Heat up your grill to medium heat. (or if you're frying them...then don't)
- Place the shrimp-wrapped bacon onto the grill. Grill ~8 minutes, flipping from side to side, til shrimp is cooked and bacon is browned to how you like it.
- Eat!
Prep: 15 minutes
Yield: With it thrown over pasta, 2 meals.
